Stanford Professionals in Energy (SPIE) is an alumni organization that aims to build on Stanford’s leadership in energy research by providing a platform for real-world professional development and engagement. Launched in June 2015, SPIE is open to all Stanford alumni.

SPIE serves as a networking platform for alumni across the energy sector, from renewables and electric vehicles to biofuels, oil and gas, and utilities. The long-term goal is to increase alumni engagement with the broad range of energy-related activities on campus and foster collaboration among generations of alumni leaders in the energy sector.
